PM-24-075: Hemp Crop Insurance Changes Effective for the 2025 and Succeeding Crop Years
BACKGROUND:
The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved changes to the Hemp crop insurance program, under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act, on August 22, 2024.
The following changes are applicable for the 2025 and succeeding crop years:
Actuarial Release 24-047

PM-24-073: Hurricane Insurance Protection - Wind Index Updated National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Climate Prediction Center Rainfall Dataset August 2024
In accordance with Section 8(d) of the HIP-WI Endorsement and the Hurricane Data Provisions, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) reviewed the NOAA CPC dataset and preformed a re-analysis of the 2024 cyclones up to August 31, 2024. The approved counties will have an updated payment flag and triggering event date available by close of business today in the following formats:
PM-24-072: Downed Rice Endorsement Changes Effective for the 2025 and Succeeding Crop Years
BACKGROUND:
The Risk Management Agency (RMA) revised the Downed Rice Endorsement for the 2025 and succeeding crop years. The changes include updating the formatting for consistency with the Crop Provisions and other plain language and non-substantive editorial revisions.
