Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) are required to conduct reviews of eligible livestock price insurance contracts (ELPIC) on livestock plans of insurance (Livestock Gross Margin (LGM), Livestock Risk Protection (LRP), Dairy Revenue Protection (DRP), and Weaned Calf Risk Protection (WCRP)). On April 21, 2025, the International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS) updated the dataset for the 2024 hurricane season in the north Atlantic basin. In accordance with Section 8(d) of the HIP-WI Endorsement and the Hurricane Data Provisions, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) reviewed the NOAA IBTrACS dataset for all cyclones in the 2024 season and performed a re-analysis.
