PM-26-012: 2026 Crop Year (CY) Common Crop Insurance Policy and Area Risk Protection Insurance Projected Prices and Volatility Factors

For the Common Crop Insurance Policy and Area Risk Protection Insurance, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) approved 2026 CY projected prices and volatility factors for insurance offers with a projected price discovery period of February 1, 2026, through February 28, 2026. These values may be viewed in the attachment and on RMA’s Price Discovery Portal.

These values will also be available at the following locations on RMA’s website by March 4, 2026:

PM-26-011: 2026 Crop Year (CY) Additional Price Elections for Selected Dry Bean Types with a March 15, 2026, Sales Closing Date (SCD)

In accordance with section 3(e)(1) of the Basic Provisions, the Risk Management Agency is providing additional price elections for selected dry bean types for states with an Actual Production History plan of insurance and a March 15, 2026, SCD.

PM-25-072.2: Expanding Access to Risk Protection Final Rule Changes Effective for the 2026 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

The Risk Management Agency (RMA) issued Product Management Bulletin PM-25-072 on December 3, 2025, announcing changes to several policies under the EARP Final Rule. In accordance with PM-25-072, RMA is releasing the revised Fresh Market Tomato (Dollar Plan) Crop Provisions, which has an April 30, 2026, contract change date.

ACTION:

The Fresh Market Tomato (Dollar Plan) Crop Provisions (27-0086) will be available today on the RMA website at www.rma.usda.gov.

MGR-26-002: Agent Compensation – Third Party Software Payments

BACKGROUND:

The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency (RMA) has completed its review of the documentation requested in MGR-25-009 and has determined that additional guidance is warranted with respect to arrangements between Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) and service providers that provide policy administration software and support services primarily for the benefit of certain agents and agencies.
