COM-25-001 Risk Management Agency Improper Payment Reviews
Background
The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency (RMA) is required annually, in accordance with Appendix C of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-123, Requirements for Effective Estimation and Remediation of Improper Payments dated October 20, 2014, and the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019, to estimate and report an improper payment rate using a statistically selected, statistically valid sample of policies for the Federal crop insurance program.
PM-25-022 Accommodations for Producers Applying for Nursery Value Select Coverage for the 2026 Crop Year in Counties with a September 1 Sales Closing Date
Background
Beginning with the 2026 crop year, NVS will replace the Nursery Field Grown and Container (FG&C) crop insurance program. Nursery FG&C will no longer be available for producers to purchase after the 2025 crop year. RMA published Manager’s Bulletin MGR-24-002, hosted webinars, and communicated virtually, electronically, and in person over the past year to ensure producers are aware of the transition.
