PM-22-001: New Post-Application Coverage Endorsement (PACE) Effective for the 2022 and Succeeding Crop Years

Background

On August 25, 2021, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved the implementation of PACE, under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act. PACE will be available beginning with the 2022 crop year for selected counties in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin for non-irrigated corn with a sales closing date of March 15, 2022, or later.

  • 2022 Actuarial Data Master for the 1/31 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
  • 2022 Special Provisions for the 1/31 Filing Date.

PM-21-074: 2022 Crop Year (CY) Commodity Exchange Price Provisions (CEPP) – Peanuts Factors: January 31, 2022 Sales Closing Date

Background

The CEPP - Peanuts factors necessary to establish the insured’s amount of protection under the peanut program for the 2022 CY are identified below. The factors are applied to the commodity prices for wheat, cotton, soybean oil, and soybean meal during the discovery period of December 15, 2021 to January 14, 2022. These factors apply only to states with a Sales Closing Date (SCD) of January 31, 2022.

MGR-21-013: 2022 Crop Year County Spring Crop Program Expansions

Background

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation has expanded the number of counties where certain crops are insurable for the 2022 crop year having a November 30 thru December 31st contract change date. The following attachment, 2022 Expansion of Existing Spring Crop Programs, lists the expansion by crop, state, and county for the permanent (non-pilot) program.

Action

Approved Insurance Providers should advise producers of the expanded county crop programs for the 2022 crop year.
