The CEPP peanut factors necessary to establish the insured’s amount of protection under the peanut program for the 2020 CY are identified below. The factors are applied to the commodity prices for wheat, cotton, soybean oil, and soybean meal during the discovery period of February 1, 2020 to February 28, 2020. These factors apply only to states with a Sales Closing Date (SCD) of March 15, 2020.
In accordance with the Special Provisions and the Loss Adjustment Manual (FCIC-25010), Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) are required to obtain samples for quality adjustment purposes not later than 60-days after the calendar date of the end of insurance period (EOIP), regardless of whether AIPs grant an extension of time to harvest. For example, if the calendar date for the EOIP for corn is December 10th, the deadline for the AIP to obtain quality samples is February 8th.
