Additional Price Election:
In accordance with section 3(e)(1) of the Basic Provisions, the Risk Management Agency is providing an additional price (a new Maximum Over Established Price) for contracted flue-cured tobacco covered by the Tobacco Policy.
The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved expansion of the Nursery Value Select (NVS) crop insurance program beginning with the 2025 crop year. In addition, the Crop Provisions are being updated to include small clarifications for consistency with the Basic Provisions.
The NVS Crop Provisions (25-1010) are available on the Risk Management Agency (RMA) website at www.rma.usda.gov.
Additional Price Elections:
In accordance with section 3(e)(1) of the Basic Provisions, the Risk Management Agency is providing additional price elections for almonds covered by the Almond Policy.
The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) amended the Common Crop Insurance Policy (CCIP) Basic Provisions and Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI) Basic Provisions. The changes apply for the 2024 and succeeding crop years for the November 30, 2023, contract change date and for the 2025 crop year for crops with a contract change date prior to November 30, 2023.
Additional Price Elections:
In accordance with section 3(e)(1) of the Basic Provisions, the Risk Management Agency is providing additional price elections for peaches covered by the Peach Policy.
The Risk Management Agency (RMA) issued Product Management Bulletin PM-23-035 on June 29, 2023, announcing changes to several policies under the APHCIT Final Rule. In reviewing the changes made in the APHCIT Final Rule, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) found some incorrect references and conflicting provisions that were not updated to accurately incorporate the changes, and a grammatical error was included in the amendatory instructions.
The Risk Management Agency (RMA) revised the Rainfall Index (RI) Common Policy and the Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF) Crop Provisions for 2024 and succeeding crop years for the August 31, 2023, contract change date and for the 2025 crop year for insurance plans with a contract change date prior to August 31, 2023. The changes include:
