To accommodate the growth in the Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage (PRF) pilot program over the last several years, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) has decided to manage and support the Grid ID Locator, Decision Support Tool, and Historical Indices (PRF Tools) internally. The Risk Management Agency (RMA) has revised the Rainfall Index and Vegetation Index Pasture, Rangeland, Forage Basic Provisions, via a Farm Bill Amendment, to incorporate changes made in the 2014 Farm Bill Final Rule that was published in the Federal Register on June 30, 2016. In addition, the following modifications to the Annual Forage (AF) Plan of Insurance are effective beginning with the 2018 crop year:

The Risk Management Agency (RMA) has revised the Livestock Risk Protection and Livestock Gross Margin-Cattle, Dairy, and Swine Basic Provisions to incorporate changes made in the 2014 Farm Bill Final Rule published in the Federal Register on June 30, 2016. Additionally, these Basic Provisions have been revised to incorporate changes previously made in the Ineligibility Amendment.
The new provisions are effective for the 2018 and succeeding crop years.
