The 2018 CY harvest prices shown below are approved for the following plans of insurance: Revenue Protection, Area Revenue Protection, Revenue Protection with Harvest Price Exclusion, and Area Revenue Protection – Harvest Price Exclusion. The harvest prices are applicable for the crops, sales closing dates, states, types, and practices indicated in the following table.

MGR–18-008: 2019 Crop Year County Fall Crops Program Expansion

Background

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation has expanded the number of counties where certain crops are insurable for the 2019 crop year. The following attachment, 2019 Expansion of Existing Fall Crops Programs, lists the expansion by crop, state, and county for permanently-established (non-pilot) programs.

Action

Approved Insurance Providers should advise producers of the expanded county crop programs for the 2019 crop year.

Background

RMA is planning to research the feasibility and development of a Federal crop insurance program for hybrid canola seed production. An initial notice of intent for development of a hybrid canola seed program, PM-17-069, was issued on December 6, 2017.

PM-18-025: Commodity Exchange Price Provisions for the 2019 and Succeeding Crop Years

Background

The Commodity Exchange Price Provisions (CEPP) are used in conjunction with either the Common Crop Insurance Policy Basic Provisions or the Area Risk Protection Insurance Basic Provisions, along with Crop Provisions for the following crops: barley, canola/rapeseed, corn, cotton, grain sorghum, rice, soybeans, sunflowers and wheat.
