Actual Production History

Additional Price Elections:

In accordance with section 3(e)(1) of the Basic Provisions, RMA is providing additional price elections for selected APH and SCO dry bean types and dry pea types with a March 15, 2018 SCD.

Background

On February 15, 2017, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors (Board) approved policy changes, submitted by private submitters, to the Sugarcane Actual Production History (APH) plan of insurance for the 2018 crop year in accordance with Section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (Act).

As of September 26, 2017 the following information is now available on the FTP site:

• 2018 Actuarial Data Master for the 8/31, 9/30 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
• 2018 Special Provisions for the 9/30 Filing Date.

Integrated Financial Analytics and Research, LLP (iFAR) the developers of the Trend Adjusted Actual Production History Endorsement (Trend-APH) advised the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors (Board) of their intent to maintain the Trend-APH endorsement and charge a user fee to approved insurance providers (AIP) selling the plan. Section 522(b)(4)(C) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (Act) allows submitters to maintain approved 508(h) products and charge a user fee to approved insurance providers (AIP) that elect to sell the policy.

The following additional price elections are provided for 2017 CY APH Forage Production with a sales closing date of September 30, 2016. Price elections are expressed in dollars per ton.

Changes have been made to the Sugarcane Actual Production History (APH) plan of insurance for the 2017 crop year as approved on June 3, 2016, by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors (Board). The approved changes are applicable to the Sugarcane policy and will be implemented via Special Provisions of Insurance and are listed below:
