Background

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) revised the Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI) Basic Provisions, Common Crop Insurance Policy (CCIP) Basic Provisions, Sunflower Seed Crop Provisions, and Dry Pea Crop Provisions for the 2021 and succeeding crop years for crops with a contract change date on or after November 30, 2020, and for all other crops, the changes are applicable for the 2022 and succeeding crop years. The changes include:

ARPI Basic Provisions:

In accordance with Section 3 of the ARPI Crop Provisions, Section 10 of the SCO Endorsement, and Section 14 of the MP Crop Provisions approved final county yields, final county revenues, harvest revenues and harvest margins for 2016 crop year wheat will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

In accordance with Section 3 of the ARPI Crop Provisions and Section 14 of the MP Crop Provisions, approved final county yields, final county revenues, harvest revenues and harvest margins for 2016 crop year will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

Background

The Commodity Exchange Price Provisions (CEPP) are used in conjunction with either the Common Crop Insurance Policy Basic Provisions or the Area Risk Protection Insurance Basic Provisions, along with Crop Provisions for the following crops: barley, canola/rapeseed, corn, cotton, grain sorghum, rice, soybeans, sunflowers and wheat. The CEPP specifies how and when the projected and harvest price components will be determined. The CEPP contains two sections:

The 2020 CY harvest prices shown below are approved for the following plans of insurance: Revenue Protection, Area Revenue Protection, Revenue Protection with Harvest Price Exclusion, and Area Revenue Protection – Harvest Price Exclusion. The harvest prices are applicable for the crops, sales closing dates, states, types, and practices indicated in the following table.
