PM-20-060: California Citrus Tree Crop Insurance Program Effective for the 2021 and Succeeding Crop Years

Background

On August 15, 2019, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors approved the California Citrus Tree (CCT) Crop Insurance Program, under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act. Features of the program effective for the 2021 and succeeding crop years in select California counties include:

In accordance with Section 15 of the ARPI Crop Provisions and Section 10 of the SCO Endorsement, approved final county yields for the 2019 crop year will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

PM-19-026: 2018 Crop Year Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI) Final County Yields for Forage Production; 2018 Crop Year Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) Final Area Yields for Almonds, Blueberries, Peaches, Apples, Grapes, Prunes, Walnuts, ...

In accordance with Section 15 of the ARPI Crop Provisions and Section 10 of the SCO Endorsement, approved final county yields for the 2018 crop year will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

PM-18-024: 2017 Crop Year Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI) Final County Yields for Forage Production; 2017 Crop Year Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) Final Area Yields for Almonds, Blueberries, Peaches, Apples, Grapes, Prunes, Walnuts, Grapefruit..

In accordance with Section 3 of the ARPI Crop Provisions and Section 10 of the SCO Endorsement, approved final county yields for the 2017 crop year will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

MGR-17-014.1: Clarification - Emergency Procedures for Crops Damaged by Hurricane Irma

Background

On September 22, 2017, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) issued MGR-17-014, Emergency Procedures for Crops Damaged by Hurricane Irma, authorizing emergency procedures for all counties in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Since the issuance of MGR-17-014, RMA has received additional questions regarding the procedures related to Florida Citrus Fruit. This bulletin is to clarify emergency procedures related to Florida Citrus Fruit.
