PM-24-057: Shellfish Pilot Crop Insurance Program Modifications for the 2025 and Succeeding Crop Years
BACKGROUND:
On May 23, 2024, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved modifications to the Shellfish Pilot Crop Insurance Program beginning with the 2025 crop year. The modifications include the following:

Background
The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors approved the Shellfish pilot insurance program under section 523 of the Federal Crop Insurance Act effective for 2024 and succeeding crop years. The Risk Management Agency (RMA) published all program materials on September 29, 2023. The first sales closing date (SCD) is November 30, 2023, with the insurance period beginning January 1, 2024.
