PM-15-019: Rainfall Index - Annual Forage Changes Effective for 2016 and Succeeding Crop Years

Background

Changes have been made to the Annual Forage policy under the Rainfall and Vegetation Index Plan Common Policy for the 2016 crop year to incorporate changes required by the Agriculture Act of 2014.

The following revisions have been made to the Annual Forage plan program for the 2016 crop year:

PM-15-017: 2014 Crop Year Area Risk Protection Insurance Final County Yields and Final County Revenues for Corn, Soybeans, and Grain Sorghum

In accordance with Section 3 of the ARPI Crop Provisions, approved final county yields and final county revenues for 2014 crop year corn, soybeans, and grain sorghum will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

IS-15-006: 2015 Crop Year (CY) Added Land Requests

Background

The Risk Management Agency (RMA) continues to update its data processing systems under the Information Technology Modernization (ITM) project. RMA replaced the use of the Extranet Pilot SharePoint site with a Regional Office Exceptions (ROE) system for submitting crop year 2014 Requests for Actuarial Change forms. Beginning with the 2015 crop year, ROE is expanding to include RMA Regional Office (RO) Added Land requests. As a result, Added Land requests should be submitted as a type of Determined Yield into the ROE system.

The Springfield Regional Office (RO) recently received a number of requests from Approved Insurance Providers (AIP) to further extend the timeline for submitting Pre-Acceptance Inspection Reports (PAIRs). Due to continued inclement weather and high volume of policies requiring a PAIR, the extension requests are approved.
