PM-24-025: Hurricane Insurance Protection-Wind Index Changes Effective for the 2025 and Succeeding Crop Years
Background
The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) amended the HIP-WI Endorsement for the 2025 and succeeding crop years in all counties with an April 30, 2024, contract change date, or later, with the following changes:
Actuarial 24-013
As of April 23, 2024 the following information is now available on the FTP site:
- 2024 Actuarial Data Master for the 2/28 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
- 2025 Actuarial Data Master for the 4/30 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
- 2025 Special Provisions for the 4/30 Filing Date.

COM-24-003: Compliance Activities and Results System (CARS) Upgrade
Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency (RMA) is upgrading the CARS application to the Microsoft Dynamic 365 platform. The upgrade is scheduled to be completed in June 2024.

PM-24-023: 2023 Crop Year Actual Revenue History Diverted Tart Cherry Price
Background
Tart cherries are governed by a marketing order (7 CFR Part 930), which authorizes volume control authority and is managed by the Cherry Industry Administrative Board (CIAB). When the CIAB institutes diversion for a crop year, growers may divert marketable production and receive diversion certificates from the CIAB.
The ARH Tart Cherry for Processing Pilot Crop Provisions state marketable production from diverted acres will be valued at a price determined by the Risk Management Agency (RMA) for each crop year.
