Hybrid Vegetable Seed Insurance Program
Background
The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors approved the Hybrid Vegetable Seed Insurance Program, a privately developed product that was submitted and approved under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act, on March 27, 2019. This insurance program protects against production losses for Hybrid Carrot Seed. It is available for the 2020 crop year for producers in Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, and Wasco counties in Oregon and Yakima county in Washington.
Action

The following Hybrid Vegetable Seed Insurance Program materials will be available by close of business today and may be accessed on the RMA Web site: www.rma.usda.gov.
