Triticale Crop Provisions - 2018 and Succeeding Crop Years
Background

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors approved the Triticale insurance program, a privately developed product that was submitted and approved under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act. Triticale insurance provides coverage for damage resulting from naturally occurring events. Beginning with the 2018 crop year, the Triticale insurance program will be available in select counties in California, Idaho, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The Triticale insurance program is similar to other  individual yield-based insurance programs and uses a producer’s Actual Production History to establish the insurance guarantee.

Please refer to the Triticale Crop Provisions and Special Provisions for more information.
