Dry Pea Revenue Endorsement Changes Effective for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

On May 21, 2026, to be consistent with the Common Crop Insurance Policy, Basic Provisions, as amended in the Expanding Access to Risk Protection final rule (90 FR 54523), the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved premium reimbursement for the Dry Pea Revenue Endorsement when a harvest price cannot be determined.

ACTION:

The following documents will be available by June 30, 2026, on the Risk Management Agency (RMA) website at www.rma.usda.gov:

  • Dry Pea Revenue Endorsement (27-0067a)
  • Dry Pea Revenue Insurance Standards Handbook (FCIC-20200U)

Approved Insurance Providers (AIP) must notify producers of these changes at least 30 days prior to the cancellation date, as required by the policy. Interested producers should contact a crop insurance agent for further information. A list of agents can be found on the RMA website at www.rma.usda.gov/Tools-Reports/Agent-Locator.
