RMA announces availability of approximately $3.5 million to fund the Risk Management Education and Outreach Partnerships Program.

This Request for Applications (RFA) Announcement is for a combination of the programs previously known as the “Commodity Partnerships for Small Agricultural Risk Management Education Sessions” and the “Community Outreach and Assistance Partnerships Program.” Awards will be made on a competitive basis for projects of up to one year. Recipients must demonstrate non-financial benefits from a partnership agreement and must agree to the substantial RMA involvement in the project.

CLOSING DATE: The closing date and time for receipt of an application is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, July 14, 2011. Applications received after the deadline will not be evaluated by the technical review panel.

Note: RMA strongly recommends that applicants submit the online application at least two weeks prior to the application closing date in case there are problems with the Grants.gov Web site.
