SECRETARY'S HONOR AWARD RECIPIENT

WASHINGTON, Aug 4, 2010 - RMA Administrator William J. Murphy today announced that Janet Jacobs, Secretary to the Administrator, was recognized by Secretary Vilsack for providing sustained exemplary secretarial support and excellent customer service to RMA’s internal and external stakeholders.

Mrs. Jacobs is a dedicated public servant who just celebrated her 50th anniversary at USDA. Mrs. Jacobs has been with RMA since 1998. Joining her at the celebration which took place at the Department of Agriculture headquarters in Washington, DC were her family: husband, Jake; daughter and son-in-law Joni and Dave and granddaughter, Neala. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Assistant Secretary Pearlie Reed conducted the ceremony.
