RMA APPROVES EXPANSION OF BIOTECHNOLOGY PILOT

WASHINGTON, Dec 2, 2009 - RMA has announced the approval of Colorado for a premium rate reduction under the Biotechnology Endorsement Pilot for producers who plant HERCULEX® XTRA Insect Protection or HERCULEX® XTRA Insect Protection with Roundup Ready® Corn 2 corn hybrids for irrigated or non-irrigated corn for grain beginning in the 2010 crop year.

RMA also announced the approval of a premium rate reduction for producers who plant Agrisure® 3000GT, Agrisure® CB/LL/RW, HERCULEX® XTRA Insect Protection or HERCULEX® XTRA Insect Protection with Roundup Ready® Corn 2 corn hybrids for irrigated corn for grain in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, beginning in the 2010 crop year.
