PROCESSING PUMPKINS INSURANCE PROGRAM
AVAILABLE IN 11 ILLINOIS COUNTIES
WASHINGTON, Nov 6, 2008 - RMA has released a privately owned 508(h)
insurance program for processing pumpkins, beginning in crop year 2009. The new program is an actual
production history
(APH) program with 65 to 80 percent coverage levels, using the contract base price.
The program will be available in the Illinois counties of Bureau, Fulton, Henry, Knox, Marshall, Mason,
Peoria, Putnam, Stark, Tazewell, and Woodford, with a sales closing date of March 15, 2009.
